Equipment Rental Rates

Renters must demonstrate proficiency with equipment before renting it. YFS recommends taking orientation courses or consulting with other YFS production members to learn about the gear. Renters must sign a rental agreement.

Almost all items are available for weekly rentals at the daily rate x 5.

Multi-Day Rates

Rentals longer than 1 day are pro-rated using the following table:

• 1 day = 1 day charge
• 2 days = 1.6 day charge
• 3 days = 2.2 day charge
• 4 days = 2.8 day charge
• 5 days = 3.4 day charge
• 6 days = 4 day charge
• 7 days = 4 day charge
• Weekend = 1.6 day charge
• Extra Week = 3 day charge

Insurance

In the event that a rental package exceeds $1000 in total replacement costs, the member renting the gear will be subject to a $5 per day insurance fee. This fee is applied for each day of rental, and is not reduced by the multi-day pro-rated system. This fee may be waived if the member provides their own certificate of insurance.
