Picturing the Yukon: Yukon Films on Tour 2008

Since 2004, the Yukon Film Society has presented a weekly summer series of contemporary films and media art produced by Yukon artists and filmmakers in communities across the Territory. The program is rounded out with a few archival films about the Yukon of older days and outstanding contemporary films about the Yukon created by artists from other parts of Canada. Of the 32 works in this year's series, 28 were produced or directed by Yukoners and 27 of the films are new to this year's program. Here is your chance to experience Yukon motion picture story-telling on a cinema screen.
